Mattie Jackson, 83, of Center passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 in San Augustine, Texas. She was born February 11, 1926 in Rusk, Texas to Alvie J. Alexander and Thuria McIntyre. Ms. Jackson was a homemaker. She was a long time member of the Shelbyville First United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 2 PM, on Monday, October 26, 2009 at Watson and Sons Chapel with interment at Jackson Cemetery, with Rev. Carla Reed officiating.
