Leola was born July 4, 1925 to Charles and Margaret Kimber Ruchti in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She passed away on October 21, 2009 at Woodland Park Rehabilitation Center in Millcreek Township, Utah after recent heart surgery. She resided at 1685 East Browning Avenue (1420 South) in the Foothill neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah at the time of her death.
Leola was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, and her husbands Robert K. Aagard and Alfred A. Fagan. She is survived by her sister Judy Stearns, daughter Laura (Billy) Carroll, son Grant (Cyndi) Aagard, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, and one hour prior to funeral, also at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary.
