Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Joan Duncan Flowers, passed away on October 21, 2009 at University of Utah Medical Center after a much too short battle with cancer.

She worked as a teacher for a couple of years for Granite School District, and for several years as a substitute teacher for the School of the Deaf. She was also a teacher for Learning Technics.
