Issac S. Brechbill, son of Rev. Henry and Catherine (Sollenberger) Brechbill, born January 2, 1873 in Hamilton Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; married December 17, 1896 at her home at Guilford Springs, Pennsylvania, to Emma Lesher, born August 11, 1875 at Guilford Springs, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Shank) Lesher.

Their children:
Clara E. Brechbill, born April 14, 1898; married J. Zeigler Hess, November 29, 1923.
Rhoda L. Brechbill, born July 25, 1901 near Duffield, Pennsylvania.
Amos L. Brechbill, born December 21, 1902; married Rhoda Lowry, April 14, 1924.
Nora C. Brechbill, born October 23, 1904 near Duffield, Pennsylvania.
Alvan H. Brechbill, born March 26, 1906; married Ruth Good November 22, 1932.
Norman J. Brechbill, born December 28, 1910; married Viola Keefer, November 24, 1938.
Chester Lesher Brechbill, born November 2, 1913; married Mildred V. Pentz, August 3, 1941.

Mr. and Mrs. Brechbill started housekeeping on his father's farm near Duffield, south of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania and later purchased the farm. They quit farming in 1939 and moved into the house formerly occupied by his father on the same farm. They were members of the Brethren in Christ Church at New Guilford South of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Brechbill was a director of the Chambersburg Trust Company Bank, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania for many years.

Isaac S. Brechbill died January 29, 1968 at his home south of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania. He was buried February 1, 1968 in the New Guilford Cemetery.
