Esther Cason Duncan
(December 16, 1922 - January 1, 2013)

Esther Cason Duncan of Waycross, GA passed away New Years Day, 2013 at Baptist Village. Esther was born Dec 16th 1922 in Homerville, Ga. and just recently celebrated her 90th Birthday with her Family. She was a long time Member of Central Baptist Church where she was a faithful prayer warrior and a member of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class.

Esther will be remembered as a kind, loving, genteel Southern Lady. In her teen years she was employed by Heath's Florist in Homerville. She later worked at DeShazo's Florist in Waycross. She also worked at JC Penny's, J L Smith's Dress Shoppe and The Cottage Boutique, where she loved making Ladies look nice. Mrs. Duncan will also be remembered for making the world's best Candy Apples.

She was preceded in death by her Beloved Husband Hubert Allen Duncan Sr., her Father Elijah Lewis Cason and her Mother Annie Smith Cason Booth her Step Mother Amanda Futch Cason and her Sister Mildred (Sis) Cason Paulk.

She is survived by daughters Patsy Duncan Davis, (husband Redding), of Waycross, Melba Deen Duncan, of Anderson, SC and son Allen Duncan (wife Ginger) of Waycross, Half-Sister Carolyn Booth King of Homerville; Grandchildren Roger Davis,(Wife Kim) Rincon, GA, Angela Beauchamp (husband Duane), Lovington, NM and Kelly Duncan (Wife Morgan) Waycross, and Kristen Duncan Dixon, (husband Ryan) Douglas, GA.; Great Grandchildren Amanda Beauchamp, Ashley Beauchamp Roman (Husband Oscar), Tyler Beauchamp, Fallon Moore, Teagan Moore, Kelsey Duncan and Kyley Duncan and Great Great Grandson Austin Roman and many Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 5th at 11am at Central Baptist Church. Family visitation will be at Central Baptist Church beginning at 10 am. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church General Fund, 201 Ava Street, Waycross, GA, 31501.
