Grover C. Anderson, a former well known citizen of this county, died of Typhoid fever at his home in North English, Iowa, on Tuesday morning, September 7th. The body was shipped here for burial.

Interment under auspices of Westville I.O.O.F. Lodge, in Baptist Mission cemetery Thursday afternoon. Funeral services conducted by Revs. Johnson and McMenis.

Deceased leaves a wife and one child, mother, three sisters and three brothers, besides a host of friends to mourn his death. – Westville Record

Mr. Anderson was well known in this part of the county having taught school at Chalk Bluff a few years ago and attended the last singing convention at that place.
