Walter Livingston was the son of Robert Livingston and Cornelia Schuyler was the daugther of Pieter Schuyler Jr and Geetruy Sansing. Pieter Schuyler Jr was the son of Pieter Schuyler Sr {d. Sept 2, 1753} and Catrina Grosbeck; Pieter Schuyler Sr was the son of Col. Peter Schuyler and Maria Van Rensselaer

Four of her husbands sisters-one married Judge Thomas Dawes Jr a Harvard Graduate son of Mass gov Col Thomas Dawes and distant cousin on William Dawes the Patriot;
Another married Judge William Cranch a nephew of President John Adams; another married Rev Nathaniel Appleton a trustee of Harvard University; a another married Noah Webster
