Mrs. Rosa Longino, 82, of Winnfield, died Thursday, March 9, 1972 in Winnfield General Hospital after a long illness.

Native of Winn Parish, she was a member of the Atlanta Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward Smith, Rev. Jack Jones, and Rev. Roy Moore officiating. Burial was in the Couley Double Church Cemetery.

Survivors include three sons, Bryant Longino of Coushatta, Matt Longino of Montgomery, Tommy Longino of Baton Rouge; five daughters, Mrs. Della Powell of Winnfield, Miss Ann Longino of Winnfield, Mrs. Sylvia Ambrose of Kileen, Texas, Mrs. Rolene Kimmer of Lake Charles, Mrs. Patsy Owens of Shreveport; one brother, Terry Stroud of Natchitoches; two sisters, Miss Nina Stroud of Natchitoches, Miss Neva Stroud of Natchitoches; 23 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons and great grandsons.
