Later she embraced the Baptist faith and was baptized by her father Elder John Buckles into the fellowship of the Missessineva Baptist Church in 1855. She remaineed a faithful, honered, beloved sister and member until death called her into full possession of the rich inheritance that she, through faith, and so long awaited and hoped for. He last sickness was short duration and her suffering great for 2 1/2 days when they seemed to cease, and she for 10 hours dropped into a peaceful, quiet rest. "Kind husband and dear children weep not for a dear wife and loving mother, for while her feeble body lies calm and silent in the grave waiting the blessed Resurrection Morn, her purified spirt is singing anthems of Hallelujahs and Praise to God in Glory, where sickness, sorrow, death and partings never come."
Oh, how sweet to think of Home of the Bless
Where the just are forever at rest!
