Aaron Shank Lesher, son of John S. and Elizabeth (Shank) Lesher, born January 23, 1874, died April 30, 1967; married November 26, 1914 to Elizabeth Smith, born November 9, 1891, died February 25, 1967.

Aaron S. Lesher went to North Dakota about 1908. He farmed near Surrey, North Dakota about four years and returned home in 1912. After his marriage, he and his wife farmed near Saint Thomas, Pennsylvania for a year or two, then moved to Letterkenny Township. They farmed there for a number of years, then retired and moved to Orrstown, Pennsylvania. Several years later they bought a 300 acre farm in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania where they lived and farmed until they were well up in years. Aaron and Elizabeth both died the same year, 1967. They were buried in Air Hill Church Cemetery.
