He married #2 Nancy Ethel Hale in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah on 9 June 1927. Their children are Edgar Hale, Clara, Rose, Ross Hale, Karl Hale, Rachel and twins Alfred Hale and Albert Hale Jeffery.
