Acshah (on gravestone) or Experience (per Eaton, History of Thomaston, Rockland & South Thomaston & marriage record) was the d/o Mark (E)Ames Sr (1742 - 1823) & Priscilla Howland (1774 - 1796). She married Nathaniel Lindsey 14 April 1792 on North Haven by William Vinal, Sr, Justice of the Peace.
They removed to the mainland (South Thomaston / Owl's Head) where their 8 children were born.

1) John Lindsey 3rd (Capt) : 20 Mar 1793 - abt 1830, lost at sea, Capt of the schooner "Bradford" which was loaded with lime going from Rockland to Richmond, Va.
2) Anna Lindsey: 15 Nov 1794 - died in California
3) Mary Lindsey: 15 Jan 1798 - 4 April 1868
4) Rebeckah Lindsey: 20 Oct 1799 - Mar 1861, Rockland
5) Elethea Lindsey: 15 Apr 1803 - 9 Jan 1877, Rockland
6) Mark Lindsey: 1804 - 19 Sep 1879, Worcester, Mass
7) Sarah Lindsey: 20 July 1807 - 29 April 1858, Rockland
8) Priscilla H Lindsey: 1814 - 30 Nov 1852, Rockland
