Raymond C. Ketcher was born in Stilwell, Oklahoma on July 5, 1918 and died in Sonora, CA on January 2, 2007 at age 88 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jessie Leona Hightower and father Joseph Ketcher and one sister, Elsie Dudley of Stilwell in 2004.

Ray was one of 10 children, 6 of whom died in early infancy.

He served in the US army during World War II, was an avid golfer and loved to golf with his grandsons, and as an Agriculturist, he spent his career working in the fruit and vegetable canning industry in California for U.S. Products, then later for Pacific Coast Producers, serving in the field department.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Betty Ketcher, a sister, Lorena Padgett of Stilwell, a brother Bill Ketcher of Midwest City, a son, Bob Ketcher of Mariposa, CA, a daughter, Ginger Morris of Salt Lake City, UT and three step-sons, Jim Hongola of Sonora, CA, John Hongola of Soulsbyville, CA, and Jerry Hongola of Visalia, CA, along with 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Reese Cemetery in Stilwell, Oklahoma on May 13, 2007 (Mother's Day). The time will be announced at a later date.
