Alma Myrtle York daughter of Tom and Dillie Ann (Foust) Anderson was born January 12, 1922 in Adair County, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 7, 2007 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years and 25 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son; Paul Edward York and 2 infant children, 3 sisters; Maybele Thomas, Francis Ketcher, Ethel Cooper, 2 half sisters; Jennie Gunziles and Ivy Martinez, 2 brothers; Fred Anderson and Albert Anderson, 2 half brothers; Richard Anderson and Delbert Anderson.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes 2 sons; Phillip York of Westville, Ok, Jack Fourkiller and wife Joann also of Westville, OK, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 half sisters; Sallie Anton of California and Maryetta Guinn of Texas. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 9, 2007 in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bro. Lewis officiating. Interment followed in the Reese Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
