Fred Leslie Bailey, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Bailey, was born in Linn County, Missouri, 5 January 1873, and died at his Brookfield home, 25 July 1941. On 15 June 1919, he married Mrs Retta Bailey, in Milan. She survives; also his brother, Herbert C. of Browning MO; sisters, Mrs. Alta Thompson of Kansas City; Mrs. Louisa Hamilton of Humphreys MO; Mrs. Elizabeth Lantz, Browning; step daughters Mrs. Opal Neely and Mrs. Hiram Stufflebean of Brookfield. Burial - Rose Hill Cemetery.
