A. Jean Snook, 91, of Lewistown, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at her home.

Born June 29, 1929, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late James and Grace (Stumpff) Newlands.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husband, Fern D. Snook, in 1991; brother, James Newlands; sisters, Nellie Everly and Rose Bryer; and her step-children, Kenneth D. Snook and Joyce Wertz.

Jean is survived by: her sister, Catherine Brower and husband, Albert, of Lewistown; a nephew and three nieces and their families; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Jean was employed in production at Hartley's Potato Chips for 24 years and at James F. Havice, Inc. for 12 years, retiring in 1991. She also worked in housekeeping at The Clarion Inn, Burnham.

She was a member and treasurer of the Midnight Riders Motorcycle Club, Lewistown.

Per her wishes, there will be no services.

Interment will take place at Belltown Community Cemetery, McClure.

Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
