ETTA M. RAY, ELWOOD, DIES

ELWOOD - Mrs. Etta M. Ray, 75, 226 Main St., died at 12:30 p. m. Sunday at Mercy Hospital following an illness of several weeks from heart complications.

Mrs. Ray was born Nov. 18, 1883, at Portland, Ind., and was the daughter of Abraham and Ann Longerbone.

She was first married in 1902 to Charles W, Renner. Mr. Renner died Nov. 13, 1952.

On April 5, 1956, she married Jesse Ray.

Mrs. Ray was a member of the East Main Street Christian Church, the Kings Daughters Class of the church, the Order of Eastern Star and the Wednesday Social Club.

Surviving are the husband, Jesse; a son, Carl Renner, and a daughter, Miss Pauline Renner, both of Elwood; two brothers, William Longerbone, Union City and Omer Longerboner, Modoc; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Curts, Richmond; two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home where friend are being received. Services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. J. E. McCoy, pastor of the East Main Street Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Elwood City Cemetery.
