George J. Davidson, aged 85 on 117 Wayne avenue, Ellwood City, died at Ellwood City hospital at four o'clock Wednesday afternoon, after several months illness.
He was born in Lawrence county in 1864, and was preceded in death by his wife, three years ago. Surviving are his son, William M. Davidson, of 600 Line avenue, Ellwood City, and one sister, Mrs. Laura Witherspoon, of Beaver, Pa.
Funeral services will be conducted from the J.L. Porter and son funeral home at Fifth street, Ellwood City, Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, with Rev. W.E. Minteer officiating. Interment in Clinton cemetery, Wampum.
