Mrs. Fogle was born December 3, 1918, in Orangeburg County, the daughter of the late Donnie Bair and the late Gussie Garrick Bair. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Orangeburg and a member of the Loyalty Sunday School class. She was retired from Belk-Hudson Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Merritt Fogle Sr.; and by a daughter, Shirley Fogle Myers. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Lewis Merritt Fogle Jr. and Faye Fogle, and Jimmy L. Fogle, all of Orangeburg; one daughter, Mrs. Marion (Debra) Funderburk Jr., of Orangeburg; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
