He was the 11th ch in a fam of 14 - all deceased, except 1 sis, Mrs Alice STOVER of GC. As a young man he & his bro Richard were in the implement & blacksmith bus. Late yrs in real estate loan & insurance bus. Postmaster at GC for a number of yrs. 1878 he m Jennie VAN CLEEF - 2 ch: Minnie Bird who d 1882 & Powd of Tulsa OK. Survivors, wife, son & granddau Cozette MC LUEN of DM. Funeral services at Christian Ch, interment at Valley cem.
