Jim Lee Adair Dies In Carlsbad, N.M.
Jim Lee Adair, 57, died Nov. 13 in a Carlsbad, N.M. hospital after an illness of two days. Adair farmed in this community until 14 years ago when the family moved to New Mexico.
Born in Stephens county in 1894, in 1919 he married Mattie Coffman at Granite. He united with the Church of God at Hagerman, New Mexico in 1939.
Survivors include Mrs. Adair; a son, Harlon Adair, of Roswell; two daughters, Mrs. Rose Hefner of Roswell and Mrs. Erby Bristow of Hagerman, and eight grandchildren.
Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Punneo, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ligon and E.L. Punneo and son, all of Oklahoma City, and J.T. and Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Punneo of Carnegie.
