Menoah/Manoah J. was the son of Philip & Rhoda (Lundy) Beamer. He was one of eleven children that I know of: Peter, Henry, Mary S.,Charity, Sarah Ann, William Isaac,
Florence Frances, Richard Lundy,Tena Rhoda, & Irena. Menoah was married twice. His first wife was Mary Polly Owen-dau of Robert Marion & Martha Hampton (Herring) Owen/Owens. His second wife was Sarah Lelia (Lily)Hutcherson-daughter of Paschal & Mary A. Hutcherson. Menoah & Mary had 10 children that I know of:Rebecca B., Sterline, William Richard, James Henry, Missouri Nancy, Martha V., Laura Elizabeth, Robert P., Thomas M., & Mary L.. Menoah & Lily had 4 children: Paschal Hutcherson, Samuel Campbell, Hattie I., & Glover.
Menoah had built a barn just south of Blackburn, Saline Co., MO. with a full size horse race track inside. He was very well known for his horses. He had won several ribbons at the Sedalia, MO fair. The day he passed he had one of his horses brought to the window by his bed so he could see him one last time.
