Death Results From Stroke of Paralysis Suffered Few Days Ago
Interment at Bethel Church East Mombo
Mr. J E Edwards, 73 years old died Sunday morning at 4 o'clock at his home on Buffalo Shoals Rd. Death resulting from a stroke of paralysis which he suffered a few days ago.
The Funeral service was held this morning at 10:30 o'clock from the home and interment was at Bethel Church Cemetery East Mombo
Mr Edwards is survived by his wife, three sons and four daughters. Mr. Joe Edwards and Mrs Pearl Warlick of Stanley NC, Mrs F W Edwards Durham N C, Mrs J E Edwards Bessemer City N C, Mrs J V Barkley Lincolnton N C, Mr M B Edwards and Mrs A C Shuford of this City. Three half sisters also survive. They are Mrs U P Starr of Boynton VA Mrs W R Reynolds and Miss Amanda Wilkerson of Newton N C
