Belvia Aletha Walls Jan. 20, 1921 — Oct. 17, 2009 Belvia Aletha Walls, age 88, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009. She was born Jan. 20, 1921 in Marlow to Charles and Amanda (Solomon) McConnell. She grew up in Marlow and graduated from Central High School. During WWII she lived in Tulsa and worked as an inspector of the B25 Bomber aircrafts. She married J.C. Walls in 1941 and they were stationed in Calif.., Kan., N.M. and Texas while he was in the Air Force before retiring and moving to Duncan. She was an active member of the Westside Church of Christ in Duncan. She moved to the OKC area in 1992. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J.C. and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by one son, James C. Walls and wife Marsha of San Antonio, Texas and one daughter Janay Bishop and husband Keith of Mustang. Also by two grandchildren, Tina Jordan and Grant Miller and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009 in The Chapel of the Good Shepherd, McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service in Mustang with interment at 2 p.m. at Duncan Cemetery.Online condolences may be made at www.mcnielsmustangfs.com
