A.M. CASSIDY
Dies at Home
Stroke Fatal to Retired Rush County Farmer, 86
Alba Marion Cassidy, 86 retired farmer and lifelong resident of Rush at 4:00 o'clock this morning. Death resulted from a paralytic stroke which he suffered on March 29.
The son of James A. and Elizabeth (Howe) Cassidy, born on September 6, 1863. In January, 1896, he was married to Lavine [Luvine] Johnson whose death occurred on April 7, 1946. The only close survivor is a son Frank Cassidy at home.
Mr. Cassidy was a member of the Homer Christian Church and funeral services will be held there Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. W. B. Jenkins efficiating [officiating]. Burial, in charge of D. E. Carmony of Manilla, will be in the Arlington cemetery. Friends may call at the late home after noon Friday.
