John Franklin was my great-grandfather. He had only one son to live to adulthood, my grandfather Charley Henry Clark. He is buried in Dry Creek Cemetery near his grand daughter, Clara Clark Alls Smith, whom he raised. His only wife is buried in California where she died while visiting family after the death of John Franklin.
