Mrs. Edward H. Berrens, 61, of School Street, Chilton, died at Calumet Memorial Hospital this morning following a one-week illness. Mrs. Berrens was born at Johnsburg in Fond du Lac County, March 28, 1907, a daughter of the late Jacob and Mrs. Frances (Freund) Krebsbach.

She was a member of the G.U.G. Germania Society of Chilton, Christian Mothers and Altar Society of St. Augustine Church of Chilton and the Calumet Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

She married Sylvester Zorn on July 21, 1925, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Joe. Her husband preceded her in death. On October 4, 1947, she married Edward H. Berrens, also at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Survivors are her husband; eight daughters, Mrs. Gene (Deloris) Berrens, Mrs. Arthur (Mary) Berrens, Miss Sharon Zorn, Miss Patricia Berrens, Miss Deborah Berrens, all of Chilton, Mrs. Darwin (Gladys) Immel of Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Karl (Ruth) Bubolz of Route 1, Reedsville, and Mrs. Marvin (Shirley) Kees of Neenah; Her mother Mrs. Jacob Krebsbach of Chilton; two brothers, Reuben Krebsbach of St. Cloud, and Henry Krebsbach of West Allis; two sisters, Mrs. Ludgar Hau of Battle Creek, Michigan, and Mrs. Rene Krom of Sheboygan; and 20 grandchildren. One brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, at the Pffeffer Funeral Home in Chilton and 10 a.m. at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Chilton. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
