WAVE Burk Wed In Lemoyne Church

The marriage of Specialist Geraldine Burk, of the WAVES, daughter of Archie F. Burk, 613 Hummel avenue (sic), Lemoyne, to Thomas Nelson Chandler, of Washington, son of Mrs. J. B. Chandler, Knoxville, Tenn., was solemnized at 11 o'clock Saturday morning.

The Rev. Edward S. Frey performed the ceremony in Grace Evangelical Church. Lemoyne.

The bride, who wore her Navy uniform, was attended by her sister, Miss Esther Burk, who chose a Navy blue ensemble. Best man was the bride's brother, Yeoman John Burk, USN.

Out-of-town guests at the wedding and the reception, which followed at the home of the bride's father, were Mrs. W. J. McCoy, of Holyoke, Mass.; Ensign Margaret Duval, of Chicago, Ill., and Washington; and the bridegroom's mother, of Knoxville.

After a wedding trip Mr. Chandler and his bride will live at the Colonnade, Washington.

Mrs. Chandler, who is stationed at the Bureau of Ships, Washington, was graduated from Lemoyne High School and attended William and Mary College. Mr. .Chandler, a graduate of the University of Tennessee, is employed at the Bureau of Ships, Washington.
