Carl Alex Couteau, 61, of 6903 NW 32, died Monday in University Hospital. Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday in Bill Merritt Funeral Service with burial in Bethany Cemetery.

Couteau, a Sac and Fox Indian, was born in Stroud and had lived in Bethany 12 years. He was a retired oil well drilling company employee.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby; six daughters, Mrs. Charles Carter, 6712 NW 29 Terr.; Mars. Jack Henthorn, 6712 NW 12; Mrs. C. E. Hagler, 1237 NW 98; Mrs. Harold Whitiington, 3400 N Willow; Mrs. (Barbara Lou) Ralph Reeves, 4317 NW 15, and Mrs. Larry Walton, Oklahoma City, and two brothers, Earnest, Albuquerque, N. M., and Herbert, of Drumright.
