Glenn Alfred Hackelton, 59, of Crossett, died June 2, 1998, at his home.
He was born on March 5, 1939, at Roe (Monroe County), a son of the late John Henry Hackelton and Violet Lindsey Hackelton.
He served in the National Guard, was a truck driver and was a member of Community Chapel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Neva Dell Hackelton.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn Allen Hackelton of Crossett and Eddie Hackelton of Knoxville, Tennessee; a daughter, Laura Brown of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Doris Corder of Clinton and Connie Rochelle of Gould; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home at Crossett with the Rev. Dan Webb and Todd Reed officiating. Burial will be in Carlock Cemetery in Ashley County.
