H. David Tucker passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 1999.


The son of Rufus D. and Sarah Merrell Tucker, he was born April 9, 1925 at Grant, Idaho. He married Ila Marie Hawker on March 6, 1946 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Mr. Tucker had worked for Kennecott Copper Company for 35 years.


Was a member of the LDS Church, where he held many positions. He and Ila served a mission in Los Angeles, California and served as temple workers in the Jordan River Temple for 10 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He played with the Murray Senior Band for several years.


He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Lola Jean Sanchez; several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Ila Marie; two sons, Arnold and Richard (Vicki); four daughters, Marlene (Ty) Petrell; Leanne (Jeff)Geigle; Ilene (Brent) Barton; Deanna (Chad) Thompson; son-in-law, Amedee Sanchez; 27 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Fugate.


Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 11, 1999 in the Granger Twenty-Fifth Ward Chapel, 2101 West 3100 South. Friends may call on Sunday, October 10, 1999 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and one hour prior at the Church.
