Age 60, late of Lockport, peacefully Thursday, March 30, 2006 at his residence with his family by his side. Born in Joliet, life long area resident. Employed by Tri-Star Cabinets for 39 years. Member of Lockport Moose and N.A.M.D.R.A.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Amanda and Richard Wilda; maternal grandparents, Frank and Alice Zerbes; and mother-in-law, Lorraine Wierschem.
Survived by his beloved wife, Nancy (Wierschem); three loving children, Angela (Harry) Miller of Romeoville, John Jr. of Lockport and Andrew (Crystal) of Bourbonnais. Poppie's special guys, Ryan, Nicolas, Devon, Logan and Phoenix; his parents, R. Earl and Marie (Zerbes); father-in-law, Joseph Wierschem; three brothers, Charles, Joseph (Paulette) and Robert (Brenda); six sisters, Kathleen (Loyd deceased) Martin, Barbara (Forrest) Liles, Loretta (Jim) Decman, Irene Bakalar, Helen (Ronald) Bacza and Marcella (William) Arnold; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
