In 1807 the family migrated to Salem Township, Warren Co. Ohio and can be found in the records of the Miami Monthly Meetings.
Abigail Thomas married Jacob Martin in Warren Co. Ohio in 1824 and they later moved to Miami Co. Ohio, and in the 1850's to Leon, Decatur Iowa.
Sarah Amanda married Samuel Coral Gillum Dec. 16, 1858. Their three children, Mary Jane, Abigail and Charles Granville were born in Iowa. Sometime in the 1870's the family moved to Colorado where they lived in many different places.
Two of Sarah Amanda's sisters and their families moved to Colorado about the same time as she and Samuel did. One was Mary Wright Martin who was married to John Wesley Warner. The other was Emily/Emma Martin who was married to George Samuel Adams.

Mrs. S.A. Gillum died May 3rd at 1:30 at the home of J.A. Austin on the north side of the river. The body was laid to rest Thursday at the Glenwood cemetery. Mrs. Gillum was the mother of Mrs. Austin.

Word comes from Carbondale today (Wednesday) announcing the death of Mrs. Amanda Gillum, aged 74 years, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Austin on the ranch near Carbondale.
Funeral services will the held in Carbondale Thursday morning and the remains brought to this city and interred in Rosebud cemetery beside those of the late Frank Warner, a nephew and great favorite of the deceased.
