FUNERAL RITES HELD FOR HOMER C. EVANS
OMAK, Wash., May 21 - Final rites were observed here day for Homer Claude Evans, 70, an Okanogan County pioneer who died at his ranch home near Omak Sunday following a heart attack. When he came to Okanogan County, Evans purchased acreage on the Riverside road and planted an apple orchard which he was still operating until the time of his death. He was born at Parnell, Mo. Services were held at, the Precht funeral home chapel with the Rev. A. M. Campbell officiating. Burial was in the Omak Memorial cemetery. Surviving is his widow, Frances; one daughter, Mrs. Nicholas Anderson, Portland, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Celesta Conrad, Maryville, Mo.; four brothers, James of Ramondward, Mo.; Charles of Parnell, Mo.; Port of Independence, Mo., and Orville of Golden, Mo.
