FUNERAL SERVICE
FOR PETER KLEID
HELD THURSDAY
Funeral services for Peter Kleid, a
71-year-old railroad engineer, were
held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the
Doran Chapel. Rev. Wilton H.
Pleugge, Uvalde Lutheran minister,
officiated and burial was made in
West Lawn Cemetery under the direction
of the Doran Funeral Home.
Kleid died Wednesday In a local
hospital after a long illness. |
He was born in San Antonio,Texas.
He married Miss Theresa Havre in
Del Rio and he had made his home
here for 37 years.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs.
Theresa Kleid; three brothers and
a sister. The brothers are Ed
Kleid of San Antonio, Albert Kleid
and George Kleid of Los Angeles.
The sister is Mrs. Anna Kirchens
of San Antonio.
Here for the funeral Thursday
were his sister, Mrs. Annie Kirchen,
with her daughter, Mrs. Emma
Murray; a brother and sister-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kleid of
San Antonio; Mr. and Mrs. Sam
Cunningham and Mrs M Delling;
of Laredo. Mrs. Delling is Mr..
Kleid's sister.
Pall bearers were H. H. Wehner,
Henry Sherrod, J. R. Johnson, Stillman
Long, J. Z Combs, W. H. Buchanan,
Claude- Miller, E. A. Stricklen
and S. Daniels of El paso.
