Mr. Meadows was born Jan. 6, 1932, in Page County, and was a son of the late Ardelia Meadows.
He attended the Weaver Hollow School in Page County near Elkton and was a retired truck driver with Carter Lumber in Elkton. He was a member of the Bear Lithia Church in Elkton.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie Meadows, whom he married Sept. 5, 1953; a son, Glendon Meadows of Mount Crawford; a brother, Paul Meadows of Quicksburg; two sisters, Hilda Lloyd of Quicksburg and Reva Breeden of Elkton; and one granddaughter.
Pastor Donald Leatherman will conduct a graveside service 11 a.m. Wednesday at Jollett Cemetery in Page County near Elkton.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
