POCATELLO, Idaho – Mrs. Thelma Cripps Ortez, 39, Leslie, Idaho, died in a Pocatello hospital Friday following a short illness.
Born at Battle Mountain, Nevada, onJune 28, 1909, she was a daughter of Walter and Delores Bruno Cripps. The family late moved to Idaho. She had lived in the Lost River Valley, except for a short time spent in Montana.
She was married to Charles Henry Ortez at Missoula, Montana, Sept. 10, 1941. Mrs. Ortez is a member of the Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Max Whitaker and Joseph Rosencrans, Leslie; her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. D. Fullmer; a brother, Amber Cripps, Ogden; three half-brothers, Curt Fullmer, MacKay, Idaho, and Lon and Dean Fullmer, both of Ogden.
