Daughter of Michael and Rhoda Dillingham.

Wife of (1) John Dillingham Morse, a cousin, married 18 Feb 1809, in Rockcastle County, KY; and (2) Daniel Ashby, married 22 Feb 1849, Chariton County, MO.

In 1818, John and Frances were among the early settlers near the mouth of the Chariton River in Chariton County, MO. John was among the early politicians of the county, being elected judge. The Morses were neighbors of Daniel Ashby, who would marry the widowed Frances after the death of John Morse sometime after 1840.

John and Frances had two sons and five daughters: William, Stacy, Hester, Elizabeth, Frances, James, and Martha, the later children being born in Chariton County, MO.
