"William was killed by a sawmill boiler explosion on his father's farm near Beech Grove in Board Valley on March 27, 1888. I have heard my father tell the story of the horrible tragedy which killed his father and his cousin Tom. After his death, his widow was remarried on December 18, 1892 to William "Billy" Randolph in White County, Tennessee. The ceremony was performed by Benjamin Clouse, Minister. There were several children born to Casey and Billy Randolph, one of which was Lou Vina Randolph who married Earl Clouse, who was a son of Bee O. Clouse."
