Imogene Jean Muse, age 70, of Heber Springs passed away Thrusday, October 8, 2009, at the White County Medical Center in Searcy. Born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, on November 18, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Eugene and Mattie Lee (Ellingburg) Smith.

A resident of Cleburne County since 1973, Mrs Muse was a retired nurse. She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints.

In Addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Mike Adams, Larry Muse, Jr. and Richard Muse, one brother Robert Smith and one sister, Jenieve Mayfield.

Mrs. Muse is survived by two sons, Eddie Adams and wife Cathy, of Heber Springs, and Jeff Adams of Wilburn; one daughter, Trish Mosesso and husband, Bob, of Lowell; three sisters, Shirley O'Neal of Sarah, Miss., Linda Welch of Senatobia, Miss., and Jewel Berry of Refugio, Texas; her best friend, David Quattlebaum of Heber Springs; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Muse is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.

Funeral services were held October 10 at the Olmstead Chapel. Internment followed on October 11 at the Long Town Cemetery at Long Town, Miss.

Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home.
