MRS. SADIE McCARTHY HUFFSTETLER
BELMONT - Mrs. Sadie McCarthy Huffstetler, 56, of 32 Acme Rd. died Monday in a local hospital. She was retired from American and Efird Mills Inc.
She is survived by her husband, Beecher W. Huffstetler; two sons, Barry Michael Huffstetler of Stanley and Thomas Neal Huffstetler of Green Cove Springs, Fla. ; two brothers, Thomas McCarthy and Bill Simmons, both of Gastonia; five sisters, Mrs. Bell Wallace and Mrs. Sally Moore, both of Gastonia, Mrs. Lola Perkins of Belmont, Mrs. Beulah Hill of Clarksville, Ga., and Mrs. W. M. Connell of Gulf Shores, Ala.; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Centerview Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Jesse Ballew and the Rev. Billy Miller. Burial will be in Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the services.
The family will receive friends at Carothers Funeral Home, Belmont, tonight from 7-9.
