GOTTFRIED BLUHM, 73, SUCCUMBS AT HOME
Gottfried Bluhm, 73, well known farmer of Oregon City. route 3, (Beavercreek) died at his home early Monday morning. He was born in Germany, March 21, 1854 and when 18 years of age traveled to Canada, coming to Beavercreek some 40 years ago.
Survivng are the wife, Johanna and the following children; Gottfried Bluhm, Jr., Beavercreek; Mrs. David Scherruble, Vancouver, Wa.; Miss Mina Bluhm and Miss Christina Bluhm, Oregon City; one sister, Mrs. Charles Priebe, Oregon City; grandchildren, David, Carol and Clark Scherruble.
Had Mr. Bluhm lived until November, he would have celebrated his golden anniversary.
The funeral servces are will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Holman and Pace Chapel, with Rev. Kraxberger officiating. Internment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery.
