New Hartford - John James Brunnock, 77, of 16 Genesee St, a retired employee of the Foster Manufacturing Co., and more recently a school crossing guard in the village, died yesterday in his residence. He was born in Utica and attended Utica schools. He retired in 1953 after 40 years of service with Foster Manufacturing Co.
He married Nora Barry. Mrs. Brunnock died in 1918. In 1947 he married Edna Fancher. The couple had resided in New Hartford since that time. Mr Brunnock was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves a sister, Mrs. Neil Sinnott, Utica; and a step-son, Reed Fancher, New Hartford.
The funeral will be at 9 Thursday from Stevens Funeral Home and at 9:30 from St. john the Evangelist Church where a requiem high Mass will be offered. Burial in the Canastota Cemetery.
