Robert "Dell" Ipock, 88, of New Bern, died January 9,2019.
He was a life time member of Beech Groove United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951- 1953 and retired City Executive with Nations Bank. Dell was a member of New Bern Elks Club. He served on New Bern Chamber of Commerce and CarolinaEast Medical Center boards. He is predeceased by his first wife, Grace Cook Ipock and his parents, Joe and Lillie Ipock.
Surviving is his wife, Patty Ipock; son, Robert A. Ipock Jr. of LaGrange; Step daughter, Holly Furcron of Greenville; step sons, David Huff of Florida and John Rick Huff of Emerald Isle; brother Joe Allen Ipock of New Bern; sister, Bettie Hart of Salsbury; grandchildren, Robert A. Ipock III, Ashleigh Cranford, Megan Lee, Hayes Huff, Jenna Huff; 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial Service will be held 11:00am Friday, January 11, 2019 at Beech Groove United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery .The Family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home of Joe Allen Ipock, 500 Ipock Lane, New Bern
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Beech Grove United Methodist Church or to the Cancer Center at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
