She was born July 2, 1913, to Terry Jett and Monzella Brown Jett. She is survived by a daughter, Judi Triblett and husband Len; a son, Thomas Eugene Artman; grandchildren, David Artman and Rebecca Dickerson; great-grand-children, Kevin and Amanda Artman, Eric, Michael, and Deborah Dickerson; and four great-great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, in 1974; a twin sister, Pearl Summerville; and two brothers, Kenneth and Ray Jett.
She was a member of Farmersburg United Methodist Church.
Viewing will be Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, from 5 to 9 p.m., at Mattox-McHugh Funeral Home in Shelburn. Services will be Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at 2 p.m., in the chapel at Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, with the Rev. Don Ransford officiating. Burial to follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
