MARSHFIELD Warren H. Howes, of Marshfield, October 12, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Claire M. (Roche) Howes. Father of Kevin J. Howes and his wife Michele of Weymouth, Margaret C. Kiley of Marshfield and Mark H. Howes and his wife Camille of E. Taunton. Also survived by 11 grandchildren. Brother of Richard S. Howes of Dennis and the late David A. Howes. Warren was born in Dennis, MA and graduated from Dennis/Yarmouth High School. He was a retired Elevator Supervisor for Beckwith Elevator and a member of the IUEC Local #4 Elevator Constructors. Warren worked for Beckwith Elevator for 43 years before his retirement. He loved Sailing and Sking. Warren was a member of the Satuit Boat Club in Scituate and was one of the founders and a 40 year member of the Penguin Ski Club in Lincoln, NH. He was a veteran of the US Army, WWII. Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte 139, Marshfield, Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St Christine's Church, 1095 Main St., Marshfield at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in the Couch Cemetery, Marshfield.
