George S. Trout Succumbs At 68

George S. Trout, 68, of 19 N. Shippen St., died Monday at 4:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness. He was employed by the Prudential Insurance Co. of America for 44 years and retired in 1964 as a field representative, but continued as a sales representative until the time of his death. Born in Lancaster, a son of the late Dr. W. H. Trout, he was a member of St. James' Episcopal Church; Lamberton Lodge 476 F and AM; Lancaster Lodge of Perfection; and Lodge 134, BPOE. Surviving are his wife, Sarah E. Tomlinson Trout; a daughter, Suzanne T., wife of Philip R. Metzler, Bel Air, Md.; five grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Alice T. Diehl, Glastonburg, Conn.; Mrs. Arthur B. Scott, Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Louella T. Heidig, Lancaster; and Mrs. Edmund T. Anderson, Allentown.
