Vada Dunnington, 104, passed away Jan. 29, 2001. Preceded in death by husband of 60 years, William Bryan Dunnington. Also predeceased by daughter, Willa Deane Leathers, and son, William Wayne Dunnington. Survived by children, Darla (Marvin) Shelman of Pueblo, Jan (Sharon) Dunnington of Fruita, Colo., Wanda (Ron) Paulson of Monte Vista, Colo., and Noma (Win) Childs of Prescott, Ariz.; 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Everett Ausmus and Elgan Ausmus of Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews. Vada was an 11-year resident of University Park Care Center and a resident of Pueblo for 51 years. She worked at and retired from the Colorado State Hospital. The family would like to thank University Park Care Center for the care given to their mother. Funeral services, 10 a.m. Thursday. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
