Eppard Rites At Jollett's Tuesday, 2 pm.

Funeral services for Ralph Marvin Eppard who died at Alexandria will be held from the Jolletts Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial will be at Jolletts. He was a son of T. W. and Rosetta M. Eppard and the husband of Hazel Grove Eppard. Mr. Eppard leaves these children: James T. Eppard, at home; Ralph L. Eppard, in Korea; Mrs. Naomi Fillmore, of Tennessee; Mrs. Clara Brecht, of Minneosta; two brothers, Howard Eppard, of Elkton; and John Paul Eppard, and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Pardham, of Shenandoah.

Eppard Rites Are Held

ELKTON, April 26-Final rites for Ralph Marvin Eppard, of Alexandria, and a former resident of Elkton, were held at the Jolletts Methodist Church on Tuesday. The Rev. S. J. Westfall officiated at the services. Mr. Eppard was a paving contractor, a member of the Baileys Cross Road Methodist Church, Alexandria, and also the Odd Fellows Lodge. A brief service was conducted In Alexandria by his pastor, the Rev. Mr. Wren, with the Lodge participating In the services. "Ralph," as he was known to his many friends, had been ill for the past two years, and at his request, his funeral was held at the church of his boyhood. He possessed a kind and humble disposition, and was admired by all who knew him. The pallbearers and flowerbearers were cousins, a nephew and a niece. His wide acquaintance and loyalty to his friends was evidenced by the large gathering and the beautiful floral tributes.
