Mrs. Anderson was the mother of Mrs. C.E. (Pat) Murphy of this city, and is survived by numerous other relatives in this vicinity, as well.

Mrs. Susan Caroline Anderson, widow of Green F. Anderson, was born February 14, 1855 o'clock at her home at the Mound, five miles from this city.
Mrs. Anderson was a beloved character in the community in which she lived and was a resident there for 52 years. She was of the Baptist faith and lived up to the principles of her belief, showing kindness to all who knew her, and those left behind cherish the memory of a good mother and friend which softens their grief, even though they will sadly miss her.
With a wealth of floral offerings surrounding the remains, funeral services were conducted for the deceased at the Mound Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock, with the Rev. D.K. Foster paying many beautiful tributes to her memory. Interment was afterward held at Little Prairie cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons, all of whom were present, namely: Mdmes. Myrtle Murphy of this city, Minnie Stanley of the Mound, who made her home with her mother, and Cora Wilks of Lawrence, Kansas, and Messrs. George Anderson and Goah Anderson of the Mound vicinity. Twenty-eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive her.
Sympathy is extended to the bereaved relatives.
